Navigating Through Lessons

The Legacy Giving course will lead you through each lesson one by one. Simply go to the Lessons tab and select the lesson you’d like to begin. We recommend that you complete the course on your desktop computer and in chronological order, but you’re welcome to skip lessons if needed.

Once you’ve clicked into a lesson, you’ll see an introduction to what you’ll learn within this lesson at the top.

You’ll also notice a Lesson Navigator bar on the left, which shows you an outline of the lesson as well as your lesson progress.

You'll also notice how much of the lesson you’ve completed by looking at the Amount Completed percentage at the top center of your page to the right of your name.

To move through the course, simply scroll down. Read through the materials and fill in any forms or interactive elements that appear throughout each lesson.

Many of the lessons are interactive, and the instructions will prompt you whether to type and fill out a form, check a box, or simply continue on to the next lesson.

You’ll also notice hyperlinked text throughout the course. These are places where we’ve provided more information and source materials in case you want to continue reading about a topic. These links will open in a new window, so you won’t lose your place in the course.

Accessing Your Resources

The Resources section is where you’ll access each form you’ve filled out during this course. At the end of the course, you’ll unlock the ability to download your own customized legacy giving plan.
